In today’s digital era, proficiency in using technology and the internet is crucial for accessing public services, employment, and maintaining social connections. Despite this, a significant number of working-age adults are without necessary digital skills for employment, and even more lack fundamental digital literacy. Our goal is to rectify this disparity.
Our journey began in 2018 with two educational platforms, leading to our recognition with the Bronze award for Best Use of Blended Learning at the UK Learning Technology Awards. Although the Google.org-funded Make It Click programme concluded in 2021, Learn My Way continues to thrive. In the spring of 2023, we updated the platform with contemporary digital content to meet the needs of today’s world.
Learn My Way is now integral to numerous Digital Inclusion Hubs throughout the UK, offering a sanctuary for those seeking guidance or the opportunity for independent learning through a plethora of free subjects. The platform is accessible in both English and Welsh languages.
